STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT
1. A student enrolling at Westcol assumes an obligation to conduct himself/herself in a manner compatible with the function of the College as an educational institution.
2. Students are expected to behave in a courteous and considerate manner towards each other, the SRC, all members of staff, College Council members and visitors to the College always.
3. Students are expected to set a good example regarding appearance and behaviour both during college hours and after college hours, at college and away from college.
4. Students should guard against doing or saying anything that will discredit himself or herself or the College.
5. At no time does a learner have the right to behave in a manner which disrupts the learning of other learners, or which causes another learner physical or emotional harm.
6. The person who is responsible for payment accepts co-responsibility for a student’s behaviour.
7. The goal is to ensure that the College can maintain a standard of discipline acceptable to the students, parents, staff, and College Council.
8. Students must attend ALL their classes. If you are absent without valid reason, transport and accommodation allowances will not be paid out in full.
WITHOUT DISCIPLINE, CONSTRUCTIVE AND
MEANINGFUL EDUCATION CANNOT TAKE PLACE.
